![]() Not only was the cake divine but it was gorgeous too! They played nice for their cake cutting, no one wanted to waste a bite of this divine cake! The kids loved Stan Miller’s amazing music and quickly got to dancing. He got a HUGE hug for his perfect blessing!Īfter dinner we headed back and started off the reception with the first dance. ![]() There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including mine. They exited through a shower of birdseet!ĭinner was held in the main Tavern and Liz’s nephew gave the blessing. The florist did an amazing job with the decor, especially of the arch for the ceremony! It was SO HOT their wedding day, Duke was a bit sweaty and luckily his brother was on hand with a handkerchief Liz’s sister helped do up the many buttons on her dress before the ceremony. There’s always time for snuggling cute babies before the ceremony! That was my lunch for the next few days and boy was it delicious!!!!!!!!Ĭatering, Ceremony & Reception: Spread Eagle Tavern Finally, they sent me home with a HUGE box full of cake.Their wedding was yet another hot and humid scorcher of a historically hot summer!.I LOVE historic buildings and the Spread Eagle Tavern quickly captured my heart, it is a gorgeous historic place and I hope to return again soon! Beyond that the food was amazing and I’m still dreaming about the cheese they had at their cocktail hour, delicious!.Kids were everywhere having the time of their lives. I love how relaxed their reception was, it was just a dance floor (only a first dance and cake cutting without the other stuff) with an amazing duet singing and lots of conversations taking place.Duke was also very calm and they both just enjoyed the company of their family and friends all day. She wasn’t remotely stressed about anything and was very relaxed the whole day. Liz was yet another amazingly calm and relaxed bride the day of her wedding.Liz and Duke came to me by referral from a groomsman for Christina & Matt’s wedding (whom just had a gorgeous baby boy!).
